I’m a Brooklyn-based freelance writer with an affinity for all things food-related. I try to answer questions that no one ever thought to ask, such as: Why’s it taken so long for foreign-language characters and words to make it into English cookbooks? or Is chaos cooking a pathway to inner peace? I’m drawn toward stories about language, history, and cultural identity, and I love sneaking Yiddish idioms into my writing.

My work has appeared in The Washington Post, Vogue, Food52, Eater, The Counter, and a number of other outlets. I’ve also worked as a freelance editorial assistant for Hearst Lifestyle Food Group, where I wrote and edited content for brands like Good Housekeeping, and I write SEO content for the brand Made In.

Email me — I’d love to work with you.
